We are pleased to announce the launch of a new podcast by one of the members of the Nevermore team.

There is hardly a human alive who wasn’t affected in some way by the COVID-19 pandemic. But almost two years after the SARS-CoV-2 virus began infecting people in the city of Wuhan in China, the world still has no clear answer on exactly where the virus came from.

In Origins: Birth of a Pandemic, journalist John Duffy explores the strong possibility that SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Built from interviews with scientists from around the world who have been working to get to the bottom of how the pandemic began, Origins critiques the media and academic institutions that tried to denigrate the lab leak hypothesis.

Who is John Duffy?

John Duffy is an author, blogger, and podcaster from the American Midwest. He is also a veteran activist with deep connections to the grassroots environmental movement.

As the author of The Watchdogs Didn’t Bark: CIA, NSA and the Crimes of the War on Terror, he is an expert on the War on Terror and the U.S. national security state.

In 2020, he wrote a six-part series about the similarities between the “War on COVID” with the War or Terror.

That series, called “Invisible Enemies” was released through Nevermore Media on Substack.

He has been fiercely critical of the mainstream media’s coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic, writing one piece about how dratmatic images are used by MSM to mislead and terrify the public and another about how the narrative around COVID-19 variants is misleading and inaccurate.

In 2021, he released a 3-part podcast series called Origins: Birth of a Pandemic, which explores the possibility that COVID-19 may have originated in a Chinese virology lab.

He also releases content through his podcast company Double Asterisk Media as well as through his blog on Substack.
